Cleaning your hardwood floors can be an expensive and daunting task. With so many cleaners out there it’s hard to decide which one to use. You have to take into consideration the chemicals that are found in these cleaners and if they will be safe on your hardwood floors. Here is a safe and effective way to clean your floors without the harsh chemicals.
Items you will need:
- Hardwood safe vacuum or dust mop ( I like using a vacuum:)
- Hardwood floor mop and washable mop head
- Distilled White Vinegar
- Measuring Spoons (1 tablespoon)
- Liquid funnel
- 32 oz spray bottle
Instructions:
Prep the floor by vacuuming or dust mopping. Using a liquid funnel pour 1 tablespoon of vinegar into the spray bottle. Remove funnel and fill bottle with water. You can spray the floor you are about to mop or spray directly onto the mop head. I like to spray both to make sure the water/vinegar mixture spreads evenly onto the floor.
